BOB DYLAN

Things We Said Today

(A Hard Day’s Night, 1964)

With songs such as Blowin’ In The Wind; The Times They Are A-Changin’; Like A Rolling Stone; and Mr Tambourine Man, Dylan crafted the very building blocks of rock & roll. And today, over half a century since he began performing, the songwriter who first introduced poetry to pop continues to tour and inspire. Widely hailed as the most influential singer-songwriter in rock history, in 2012 Bob included Roll On John – a touching tribute to Paul’s songwriting partner – on his album Tempest. Frustratingly though, the version of Yesterday that he recorded in 1970, remains unreleased.
