Hailed at the outset of his career as “the new Sinatra”, the music of New Orleans native Harry Connick, Jr. went on to embrace every style, from jazz to funk. The Grammy award-winning singer is also one of the few pop artists to make a successful transition into screen acting, with over a dozen starring roles alongside the likes of Jodie Foster, Sandra Bullock and Renée Zellweger. Recently, Harry has also appeared as a judge on American Idol.
