JEFF LYNNE

Junk

(McCartney, 1970)

After beginning his musical career in the Idle Race, Jeff moved on to the Move, before settling down to lead Electric Light Orchestra – which, in turn, led to him working alongside Hollywood legend Gene Kelly. Later on, he carved himself a career as producer to such legendary talents as Randy Newman, Roy Orbison, George Harrison and Tom Petty, before climbing aboard the Traveling Wilburys alongside Bob Dylan. As a producer, Jeff also helped The Beatles with their 1990s recordings – which led to him co-producing Paul’s album Flaming Pie.
