RONNIE SPECTOR

P.S. I Love You

(Please Please Me, 1963)

Ronnie Spector was the voice behind the sexiest-sounding of all those 1960s girl groups – the Ronettes. Their “wall of sound” hits Baby I Love You and Be My Baby soon came to define the era and in 2007 the group were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame. Ronnie began her own solo career on The Beatles’ Apple label.
