STEVE MILLER

Junior’s Farm

(Wings single, 1974)

Hey Jude

(Beatles single, 1968)

Having started out in the psychedelic San Francisco scene of the late 1960s (seek out his album Sailor), Steve Miller went on to enjoy enduring success with The Joker, Fly Like An Eagle and Abracadabra. Over the years Miller has found himself working alongside Paul McCartney: when Paul played bass on My Dark Hour for Steve’s 1969 album Brave New World he asked to be credited as “Paul Ramon” (an old Beatles pseudonym); and in 1997 Steve returned the favour, guesting on Paul’s album Flaming Pie.
